Royal Visit to site

27/04/2010

HRH The Duke of York arrived at Shotton’s Corus Colours site in Flintshire for a tour around the company’s Deeside plant. As the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, Prince Andrew was touring the site to find out more about how the company operates and what it has to offer in the 21st century.

Peter Bramhall, Anchor's Account Director for Corus, stated "On the day in question we has 3 managers assisting the site team with the Royal route and keeping the route clear, keeping car parking spaces available and the management of the public. We also used an Anchor Mobile Vehicle to escort the Royal Vehicles around site as HRH was visiting different buildings on site. We have received lots of good feedback from Corus and the Police, thanking us for the management and flexibility of the team on the day."
