Peter started his career in the Royal Navy, and in 1996, after serving 6 years onboard Submarines, joined the Prison Service. From there, Peter joined Group 4 Total Security in 1998 as a Security Officer on the BT Contract, and during this time he worked on different sites covering a variety of roles as a Security Officer and Site Supervisor. In 2000 Peter was promoted to Operations Support Manager and was responsibly for all the sites in the Wirral and North Wales.
After 5yrs service with G4S Peter moved to OCS Security Services based in Liverpool. During his time at OCS, Peter held various roles from Operations Manager Security services, Facilities Manager at St Johns Shopping Centre and eventually promoted to Regional Operations Manager of the Security Department in Liverpool, responsibly for the whole security department based in Liverpool.
