They are in constant communication with all staff, assignments and mobile supervisors. An advanced computerised system monitors, checks and displays the booking on and off of officers, their check call procedures, assignment anomalies and supervisory locations. The control room operative continually monitors this system and will perform pre-determined assignment checks that have been agreed with the Regional manager.
All assignment instructions are computerised and our operatives are able to review this information, site rostering, employee information and customer details (emergency plans and contingency requirements etc) at the touch of a button.
Our officers are able to contact the control room operative any time of the day or night for information and any advice and this has proven to be a very valuable channel of communication. With effective and proven Disaster Recovery policies and practices in place, we have ensured continuity of service in the event of catastrophic occurrences.
The control rooms themselves are frequently audited (both internally and externally) and the day's duties and incident logs are recorded, signed and archived. The operatives have to contact the other regional control rooms throughout the shift period to ensure the safety and integrity of the other locations remain intact and have not been compromised.
