Anchor was established by Andrew Harper, Chief Executive, in 1987, originally offering a range of specialist security services to local and multi-national clients, including the retail sector and local authorities.
The company progressed through client referral, careful staff selection and prestigious contract acquisition culminating in robust organic growth and market recognition.
In 2006, the Cleaning division was established due to the demand of a number of major clients who required a professional cleaning solution.
Anchor remains privately owned and is therefore not accountable to the stock market and is committed to considerable re-investment in long-term development. The Anchor brand in the market is synonymous with quality and reliability, for both security and cleaning.
